Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia Dr. Franklin J. Marshall, affectionately known as “Uncle Frank” has always had a longing to help others.  After experiencing years of hardship growing up poor in the South, and being raised by a single mother, Frank made a promise to God to bless others if God would empower him to do so.

From that day on, his mission to make a difference in the lives of others stands as tall as the highest mountain.  Today, Uncle Frank helps boys and young men skilled trades to become entrepreneurs.

Uncle Frank found being fatherless to be frustrating and demoralizing and knows the young men he works with experience that frustration as much as he did.  Uncle Frank has become the father figure in the lives of many young men whether or not their fathers are present in their lives.

Uncle Frank comes to us at We Heal By Choice with the intention of helping us understand how we can keep at risk youth from turning to drugs and alcohol for relief from their pain and to help those who already struggle with addiction.
